When should I get my kitten/cat vaccinated?

Generally, kittens should get their first vaccines when they are about 6 to 8-weeks-old. They will continue to receive a series of vaccines until they are 4-months-old. Once they’ve received their kitten vaccines, it’s recommended that adult cats get their boosters once every year or three years depending on their lifestyle, risks and type of vaccine.

How safe are vaccines for my cat?

Not only do vaccines help protect your kitten or cat from harmful diseases, but they are also very safe. A small number of pets may experience mild side effects such as a fever or vomiting after they have been vaccinated but these symptoms usually clear up in a few days.

How will the vaccines be given to my cat?

All vaccines are administered by a single injection under the skin.
